The Meadows

The Meadows subdivision, a modular home residential community covers approximately 19 hectares of land.  DGE was engaged to facilitate the development of Phase 1 and the storm water management facility (SWMF) for the project located in Whitecourt. The design for the stormwater management facility and phase 1 of the subdivision consisted of  29 lots, 1km of roadways, with all associated underground servicing and utilities.

River Ravine Estates

River Ravine Estates, A multi phased residential development near Drayton Valley, AB.  Fully serviced with stormwater management, municipal water and sewer, power, telephone and natural gas. The first five (5) phases have rural cross section roads, while phases 6, 7 and future phases will have urban cross section roads

Lacombe Market Square

Experience to Highlight: This project highlights DGE's private development experience and ability to provide planning and engineering services for a 150 ac+/- development which included obtaining approvals for and construction of stormwater management facilities, municipal infrastructure pipeline crossings and signalized highway intersections.

 

Description: Lacombe Market Square is a 150 ac+\- mixed use commercial, industrial and residential development in the City of Lacombe. The project required changes to the land use planning through an Area Structure Plan amendment, Outline Plan preparation and Land Use Bylaw amendment. The parcel required Alberta Environment approvals for water resources as it is in the flood fringe area of Wolf Creek and approvals for stormwater management under the Water Act and AEPEA. The development included a signalized intersection on Highway 12 requiring Alberta Transportation and City approvals. Phase 1 including the stormwater management and highway intersection have been constructed, Phase 2 has been designed and is approved for construction in 2016.

Experience to Highlight: Project Management, Coordination with adjacent land owners and City of Edmonton (planning, drainage & transportation), re-zoning (Land Use Bylaw amendment), subdivision and r/w plan registrations, approval of engineering drawings and Construction Services

 

Description: Subdivision servicing for 2 ac multifamily site and 11 residential lots with residential collector roadways, sanitary sewer trunk main, water trunk main, interim and permanent storm sewer mains, interim stormwater management facility and franchise utilities

Experience to Highlight: Project Management, Land Use Planning, Re-zoning, Road Closure, Subdivision Application, Neighbourhood Structure Plan amendment, Neighbourhood Design Report amendment, Interim Servicing Report Coordination with adjacent land owners.

Charaden Meadows

Hilltop East Industrial

Hilltop East is an industrial subdivision located in the southeast of Whitecourt, Alberta. The construction of the subdivision was divided into ten phases. Construction of Phases 1 to 6 were completed before 2012.  DGE Civil Engineering Consultants (DGE) was retained to develop Phases 7 and 8 of the subdivision consisting of water, sanitary sewer system, road, site grading components and franchise utilities.
